1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SLABSCORE™ website at slabscore.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

SLABSCORE™ is a card grading analytics platform that provides proprietary composite scores for trading cards. The Service is designed to help collectors, dealers, and investors evaluate whether a card is a candidate for professional grading. The Service is currently in pre-launch development, with early access available to waitlist subscribers.

3. User Accounts and Waitlist

To join the waitlist or access certain features, you may be required to provide a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service or other users.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Trademark

SLABSCORE™ is a trademark of SlabScore (USPTO Trademark Application Serial No. 99730961). All rights reserved. You may not use the SLABSCORE name, logo, or any associated marks without prior written permission.

4.2 Proprietary Algorithms

The scoring algorithms, formulas, weighting systems, and analytical methodologies used by the Service are proprietary and confidential. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the logic, structure, or implementation of any scoring algorithm or formula used by the Service.

4.3 Content Ownership

All content on the Service — including text, graphics, user interface design, code, scores, data presentations, and documentation — is owned by SlabScore or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4.4 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Service.
  • Use any data mining, scraping, or automated data collection methods.
  • Create derivative works based on the Service or its content.
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written authorization.

4.5 Score Data

SlabScore composite scores and associated analytics are provided for informational purposes only. Scores may not be reproduced, republished, or redistributed without prior written consent. Systematic collection or aggregation of score data is prohibited.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access or collect data from the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SlabScore scores are analytical tools, not financial advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any score or data provided by the Service. Grading outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of this Service. You use scores and analytics at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLABSCORE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

The following trademarks are the property of their respective owners. SlabScore is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these organizations:

  • SGC™ (Sportscard Guaranty) is a trademark of Sportscard Guaranty LLC

  • Pokémon® is a registered trademark of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc.

References to these trademarks on SlabScore are for descriptive purposes only and do not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
